Paul Rabil

The owner if the worlds fastest shot at 111mph which is faster than any other sport on the world can throw or shoot a ball or puck.  He currently plays for Boston Cannons, he graduated from Johns Hopkins and he usually has long hair that makes him look like a beast on the field.

Gary Gait

Gary Gait is known as one of the forefathers of modern day lacrosse because he was a key advocate in having it go global and making it as popular as it is.  He is known as one of the best players of all time, including coming up with his own move known as the "Air Gait".  That is when a player standing behind the net runs and jumps around the back of the net without stepping in the crease and tucks the ball in over the cross-bar.  He is one of the most popular lacrosse players ever and will remain known as a father of modern day lacrosse in North America.

Nichols Lacrosse

The other day our lacrosse team here had a scrimmage at Salem State against Mass Maritime Academy and Salem State University.  We lost but it was two good games and even though we didn't play our best we still had a lot of good chances and we learned what our team is capable of.  It was two sloppy games but they were well fought so I was happy with how we did.  I look forward to the rest of the season and having a great time as part of the team.

The Powell Brothers

In lacrosse there is a couple of big names that everybody knows.  There is Gary Gait, and than there is the Powell brothers.  Mikey, Casey, and Ryan are three of the most dominant forces in lacrosse that have ever played.  All three went to Syracuse and all three wore the number 22.  Mikey Powell was the youngest brother but also the best, in his time at 'Cuse he scored 150 goals and got 157 assists for a record shattering total of 307 points.  Casey Powell, the middle brother scored 158 goals but only got 129 assists for a total of 287 points during his time at 'Cuse.  Ryan Powell is the oldest brother and he scored 137 goals and has 150 assists for a total of 287 points during his time at 'Cuse, the same as his younger brother Casey.  These brothers are still very active within the lacrosse community with Mikey still playing for the Boston Cannons and Ryan playing for the indoor lacrosse Boston Blazers.  Casey Powell is now a upper manager partner in Warrior lacrosse equipment.  The boys occasionally have a small trick and training session called the Powell Hour, heres a clip of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJVUJcvye7k
